Chad Parker monsterZ Marble

Monsterz Marble

By the time December of last year rolled around, my family had been participating in the World’s Biggest Marble Hunt for several months.  During that time we had found many breathtaking marbles created by some of the most talented artists in the world including Geoffrey Beetem, Topher Reynolds, and Tucker Heebner. One artist whose iconic marbles we were never able to find due to proximity and timing was Chad Parker.

Consistently we would see posts about Chad’s monsterZ marbles being “lost” and every time we would get a laugh out of his silly creations. The biggest fan of the monster-containing marbles was my ten year old daughter. She constantly talked about them and consistently dropped not-so-subtle hints about how she would like one of her own.

My wife happened to mention this in a comment on a Facebook post in the marble hunt group, and imagine our surprise when the artist himself, Mr. Chad Parker, offered to create a monsterZ marble especially for our little girl that we could give to her as a Christmas present. The marble arrived well before the holiday, and it took everything I had not to spill the beans as I was so enamored with it myself. Somehow I managed to keep it a secret until Christmas morning, and the look of pure joy on my daughter’s face after she unwrapped her gift and realized she had her own monsterZ made it all worth it.

Thank you, Chad. You made our holiday.

    Chad is a psychopath.

Aye, but a patient psychopath who forgives those bumbling stumbles who trippeth in their tripping over the glassy pathways of artistry’s vaporous rise. But then, a man of Monsterz is a man of the people! And thus we marble, error, marvel.
