The power pack includes 2 NiCd battery packs, charger with power adapter, and 2 plastic straps for attaching the robot’s battery to its structure subsystem. The 7.2V battery (the longer of the two in the photo) powers the microcontroller while the 9.6V pack fits in the remote control. While both batteries fit in the charger together, it can actually only charge one at a time, moving on to the second when the first is done. The manual predicts an approximate charging time of 3 hours per battery, and my experiences thus far match this assessment.
